Caitlin Chaisson is a curator and critic based in New York, and holds an MA in Curatorial Studies from Bard College. She is a Curatorial Assistant in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, where she has contributed to Frida and Diego: The Last Dream (2026) and Thomas Schütte (2024). Prior to this, she worked at the Whitney Museum of American Art on Jaune Quick-to-See Smith: Memory Map (2023), and at The Drawing Center on Fernanda Laguna: The Path of the Heart (2022) and Drawing in the Continuous Present (2022). In 2023, she was the recipient of the Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation’s Curatorial Open Call and curated The House Edge at The 8th Floor. Previously, she served as the Director and Curator of Far Afield (2016–19), an initiative that supports regionally-connected artistic and curatorial practices. She has also held roles at e-flux (New York City), Emily Carr University of Art and Design (Vancouver), and AKA Artist-Run Centre (Saskatoon). Her writing has appeared in Canadian Art, C Magazine, and frieze magazine, among others.

Artwork for inclusion in the exhibit will be selected digitally using EntryThingy.

Accepted artwork only will be brought to the gallery for the exhibition which will be live and in person.

NO SHIPMENTS OF ARTWORKS ACCEPTED. WORK MUST BE HAND DELIVERED IN PERSON.

SALES 30% of the price of each work sold as a result of this exhibition will be divided between GAS and the Bendheim Gallery. Sales of displayed works within 3 months of the close of the exhibition will be subject to this charge.

Entry open to all member and also non-members. Works are not eligible if previously accepted for one of our juried in person exhibitions; if they have been exhibited in the Bendheim or GAS Galleries; or if completed prior to 2023. All submitted work must be attractively and appropriately matted, framed and/or presented. All works must be for sale. If a portrait, the price of a similar commission must be stated. No PORs. The Bendheim Gallery reserves the right to final approval of the selection of artwork for the exhibition. Entry fees will not be returned if the Bendheim chooses to remove a work from eligibility for exhibition.

AWARDS: Cash and other awards totaling over $2000 will be presented at the opening reception.
A non-refundable fee of $35.00 for first piece entry and $25.00 for 1 or 2 additional pieces, up to 2 more entries, three entries total. Multiple entries from the same artist must be submitted at the same time to take advantage of the lowered additional entry fee. Entry fees must be paid to the Greenwich Art Society at the time of entry via Entry Thingy/Pay Pal.
