1st Annual Online Juried Competition
March 9th, 2026 – April 10th, 2026
The Greenwich Art Society is proud to announce their 1st "In Plain Sight" Online Art Competition for the 2026. This exhibition explores what is visible yet overlooked—objects, systems, gestures, or conditions that exist openly but escape notice through familiarity, proximity, or normalization. Artists are invited to consider the tension between what is seen and what is truly perceived.

Curatorial Experience:
Project Initiative and vision: Curated the work of Silvestro Massari, Perugia, Italy to arrange his first show outside of Italy; Grand Rapids, MI; Curated exhibition of 40 original works, organized selection, shipping, reception, fundraising; designed graphics; marketing.
Project initiative and vision: Curated original drawings of architect Rafael Vinoly’s NYC for a retrospective in the old Fed Building, Grand Rapids, MI; designed all aspects of the show; permits for the building; fundraising, graphics, marketing, and placing the show.
Project Initiative and vision: Pulso, Arte de las Americas worked with Curator Salvador Jimenz to organize 28 international Latino/a artists exhibition; catalog design; marketing; Kendall College of Art and Design

Digital Entry is open to all member and also non-members. Works are not eligible if previously accepted for one of our juried exhibitions; if they have been exhibited in the Bendheim or GAS Galleries. All works must be for sale. If a portrait, the price of a similar commission must be stated. No PORs.
ENTRY Instructions and Information:
* Online Entry January 19th thru February 19th, 2026, via entrythingy.com
* Entry fees must be paid via PayPal through Entrythingy.com.
* A non-refundable fee of $35.00 for up to 3 entries and $10.00 for up to 5 more entries. Multiple entries from the same artist must be submitted at the same time to take advantage of the lowered additional entry fee
* Accepted artwork posted online www.greenwichartsociety.org on March 9th,2026
* Exhibition closes April 10th,2026
CATEGORIES: Painting: Oil, Acrylic, Drawing, Pastel, Watercolor, Sculpture, Photography, Original Digital Art, Fiber Arts, Other Media (printmaking no digital prints of original or AI generated artwork.)
IMAGES OF ARTWORK: G.A.S. will produce an online digital catalog. All works exhibited will be included. All accepted works will also be featured on our social media platforms.
AWARDS: Cash prizes will be awarded.
